I feel like I should write
A meaningful poem
So here I go
As I sit here, in my mind, all alone.
If you look out at
The horizon of the Earth
Then think of your mother, father, or your wife
Or your beautiful daughters birth.
Then you can see the magnificence
Of everyone in your life
Or realize how close the nearest star truly is
And know the power of the Holy Ones, and all of their breathtaking might.
To sit beside an old Willow tree
Just looking at it
How its vines come down
So beautifully.
Staring up at its thick, wood body
And reminiscing
About all those people and places
All over the world, and all of their faces.
Think of how a glass of tea tastes
On a hot, midsummer day
Or how it feels to hug a friend
And cant wait to see them again, tomorrow and everyday.
Or think how it feels to go through your day
And know that there is someone there
To help you up when you are down
Knowing that there is someone who cares.
Think of how it feels to connect with someone
As you kiss them or make love
Or laying with them afterwards
Thinking about how you both fit like gloves.
From hence-forth, please realize
How special you are, and everyone to you
And never take anything for granted
Because life is too short
For us to be hating
Our love seeds need to be planted.
